Tips for writing a job application

Writing a job application can be hard. Here are some tips for writing an application if you feel that you are out of ideas:

  • Read the job description carefully and get to know our company
  • Ask yourself questions like: "How would TrademarkNow benefit from my skill set?" and "Why am I interested in this company?"
  • Tell us where you are now, where do you want to go and how would this open position help you to achieve your career goals
  • Let us know what kind of team member you would be for us and what it's like to work with you on a daily basis 
  • We are like a bag of mixed nuts where everyone can be themselves so don't be afraid of showing us your personality!

Data Integration Architect

We are now looking for a Data Integration Architect to strengthen our ever-so-delightful and innovative Helsinki-based R&D team!

In addition to enjoying cookies and coffee at the office you will be:

  • Working with the team to create performant ETL/ELT and Machine learning pipelines
  • Writing/configuring ETL processes to bring data from various external sources
  • Monitoring / improving data consistency and integration flows
We expect you to have experience from Scala, Java, XML, JSON, SQL and Linux scripting. Experience from Web crawling / scraping is a big plus!

Marketing Specialist

We are now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in New Jersey. If you see yourself as the future guru of SEO, social media, e-mail and HubSpot, keep on reading!

In this position, you will: 

  • Be responsible for the successful optimization and promotion of our Inbound Campaigns
  • Use all types social media outlets to promote our campaigns
  • Stay current on social media trends, identifie new promotion opportunities and bring new ideas to the table
  • Identify and partner with active and relevant bloggers/influencers
  • Develop conversion pages & nurturing sequences in Hubspot using smart forms
  • List segmentation & proper list management
  • Develop & execute promotion tactics designed to meet the designated campaign results; these tactics can include social media, media outreach, email marketing and other creative promotion tactics to move the needle
  • Responsible for setting up new Hubspot portals and overseeing integration efforts
  • Perform keyword research and develop quality keyword portfolio's utilizing SEO tools and resources
  • Conduct SEO analysis; make recommendations based on analysis to improve search results and implement changes
  • Evaluate UX of our website; make and implement recommended changes to website for a better overall client experience
  • Using SEO best practices, publish web content
  • Maintain and optimize website according to the latest best practices for both on and off-page best practices
  • Make necessary edits to websites and landing pages through CMS 

In addition to having prior work experience from the tasks above, we expect you to love and breathe all things digital, analytical and love learning new technology tools.

Sales Associate

 

We are always looking for new and energetic Sales Associates to join our pre-sales team in Kilkenny and New Jersey. So if you are looking for an exciting position to kick-off your career in sales, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

In this position, you will be:

  • Focused from researching potential target clients (corporate in-house trademark teams, law firms, and branding agencies) to critically analyzing and determining whether or not there is a fit between the prospect client and TrademarkNow
  • Learning about the prospect and asking the question that will determine whether this is a qualified lead (this position is more about discovery than sales)
  • Facilitating a smooth passing of the lead onto the Software Sales Specialist who will continue the sales process from there

What do I need to have?

  • The ability to develop sales opportunities by researching, profiling and identifying potential accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a penchant for navigating a business landscape to generate qualified leads
  • A self-starter attitude with bundles of enthusiasm and a can-do spirit
  • Good prioritization and time-management skills to follow up prospective leads generated from marketing campaigns and events
  • Ability to write follow up emails based on conversations with prospects
  • Manage and maintain the prospect database (Salesforce.com)
  • Comfortable with the Google communication platform (email, calendar, hangout, chat, etc.)
  • Be excited by the challenge of working in a fun, target-driven environment
  • Ideally, a college degree or equivalent
