Ronkainen recently finished teaching a college course on legal technology and innovation at the University of Turku in Finland the first of its kind in Northern Europe.
Ronkainen spoke at four legal and technology conferences in the past two months. Ronkainen moderated a table topic discussion at the 137th International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. She was a guest lecturer on May 7th at The Program For Legal Tech and Design, based at Stanford University's Institute of Design (d.school). At The 15th International Conference on AI and Law (ICAIL 2015) this month, Ronkainen led a CLE session entitled, Software Tools, Automation, and Machine Learning for Practicing IP Law. And she ended her West Coast speaking tour with a presentation at CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics.
TrademarkNow has already doubled the staff at the company's Kilkenny, Ireland office that opened earlier this year. TrademarkNow's Kilkenny office is located in NewWorkJunction, a shared co-working space in the city known as â€œThe Friendliest City in Europe.â€
