TrademarkNow grows in the US and opens new New York office. TrademarkNow Achieves 575% Year-over-Year Growth In U.S. Client Base, Secures New U.S. Clients Kohl's, McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP and Ignite Brand Group, and Opens New, Larger NYC Office To Accommodate Growth

TrademarkNow®, a Helsinki-based legal technology company, today announced that the company achieved 575% year-over-year growth in its U.S. client base, since launching its U.S. operations last Fall. Since November 2014, the company's U.S. client roster has rapidly grown to include several well-known Fortune 1000 companies, law firms and branding agencies, including Kohl's, Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), VMWare, Google, Cliff Kuehn Law Office, McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP, Reinhardt LLP, FutureBrand, Brandsymbol, and Ignite Brand Group, to name a few. These new TrademarkNow clients join an already robust European client base.

In addition to growing its U.S. client base over the past year, TrademarkNow expanded the common law search component of NameCheck its trademark search product, in response to demand from the U.S. market. Since 90% of U.S. trademarks are not registered with the U.S. government, reviewing common law risk is a critical part of the trademark clearing process. NameCheck's common law search capabilities now includes 30 million U.S. company names and related information. This year TrademarkNow also expanded its common law search to include music artist, album, song, video, TV episode and App content from Apple's iTunes, as well as information from other digital marketplaces and app stores.

TrademarkNow was founded on the idea of applying machine learning, advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence to the manual efforts related to trademark clearing to increase process efficiency and effectiveness. TrademarkNow provides an intelligent web-based trademark management platform that is used by in-house legal teams, law firms and branding agencies for instant trademark search and watch results.

With the U.S. marketplace responding strongly to TrademarkNow, the company moved into a new, larger office space in New York City this month. The company's new office in the heart of Silicon Alley on East 28th Street will accommodate the company's planned growth in 2016. Currently, the heads of marketing, sales, and product for TrademarkNow all work from the company's New York City office.
